]]>I am so thrilled to be included in the Sunday edition of The New York Times today! This is such an honor and had such a fun time working with them on a story. Jane Margolies did a wonderful job on the article. We have a true passion for vintage jewelry and we are so happy to share our story about how we find some of our treasures. The day was spent sifting through this and I showed them my "recipe" for finding unique things. We focus on items that customers seem to consistently want and colors that are popular. We look for styles that never seem to go out of fashion. When looking for vintage jewelry, we love finding things that spark a nostalgic feeling. Anything enamel, gold necklaces, delicate charms and stones, and anything funny all do great.
Libby met Jane at a holiday market in NYC. They discussed how much fun it might be for Libby to take Jane on shopping trip to CJS. Jane jumped at the idea and they met at the CJS Warehouse in NYC, one of her many sources.
CJS is a warehouse located in New York City that has been providing unique old stock jewelry parts to designers around the world for years. We love going there and interacting with the lovely owners. It's always a fun time and we find amazing things.
